Convention

Each year, thousands of VFW and VFW Auxiliary members convene from all over the world for our five-day national convention. VFW members vote on organizational by-laws, attend revitalizing and informative workshops, network with other veterans and attend business sessions.

VFW Magazine

With a circulation of more than 1.2 million, the official VFW magazine has been the voice of the overseas war veteran for more than a century. In November 1904, the first issue of the magazine's predecessor publication appeared for members of a fledgling organization called the American Veterans of Foreign Service.

Highlighting the amazing work the VFW does at all levels, Checkpoint is an award-winning newsletter . It provides VFW Department, District and Post leaders with a more comprehensive and unique understanding of the organization.
